Acute Technology Inc. Supports MCTP over I2C / MCTP over I3C / MCTP over SMBus Decoding

[March 28, 2025] – Acute Technology Inc. has announced the support for MCTP over I2C / MCTP over I3C / MCTP over SMBus protocol decoding across its logic analyzers and MSO series mixed signal oscilloscopes.

MCTP (Management Component Transport Protocol) is a protocol defined by DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force). It facilitates communication between management controllers or between management controllers and management devices, and is widely used in servers and cloud infrastructure. Additionally, MCTP has a few higher layer protocols, such as PLDM (Platform Level Data Model), and we now provide support for PLDM, further enhancing signal analysis and system management capabilities.
