PDM Electrical Validation

Performing PCM Electrical Validation with an oscilloscope ensures that the PDM signal meets its defined specifications. After an extended burn-in test, the electrical characteristics of the signal under test can be verified against the required specifications.

For protocol electrical validation, PDM protocol electrical characteristics are typically analyzed in two dimensions: vertical (voltage) and horizontal (time/phase).

To use this functionality effectively, first configure the oscilloscope with the appropriate protocol and specifications. Then, conduct repeated tests to generate an electrical characteristics report. The test parameters, including specifications and standards, will vary depending on the PDM baud rate.
