MCTP over I2C
MCTP (Management Component Transport Protocol) over I²C is a transport binding that enables communication between management controllers and other components in a system using I²C as the physical layer.
MCTP is a transport-independent protocol, meaning it can work over various underlying buses like PCIe, SMBus/I²C, UART, and Ethernet. When MCTP operates over I²C/SMBus, it follows the I²C/SMBus protocol for message passing between MCTP endpoints.

Save as TXT/CSV
In Logic Analyzer mode, click the icon above the report area to save the decoded data as a TXT/CSV file.
MCTP over I2C Decoding Setup Steps
1. Click Quick Settings or Add Protocol Decode to select a protocol for logic analyzer capture.
2. Select MCTP over I2C for decoding.
3. If you use Quick Settings, the system will recommend configurations for trigger type, sampling rate, voltage threshold, and channel settings.
4. Click the icon to access the Decode Settings screen.
Decode Settings
Channel: Specify the Logic Analyzer channel number connected to each signal end on the device under test.
Destination Address Configuration: Set the device address and its corresponding protocol.
Advanced Decode Setting: Display the detailed interpretation of the raw data.
